Welcome to our website. In our site you'll find our current field reports for our investigations within our geographical area of research. Also, you'll find other reports from California which have caught our interest or we believe might be of interest to you.
We have drawn the conclusion that within our area of research the Bigfoot species is currently habituating several spots.
Please enjoy our reports and contact us if you have questions or can contribute information regarding Sasquatch in our research area.

We would like to make a statement regarding the alleged body of a sasquatch in the custody of Bigfoot Tracker of Atlanta, Georgia.
Much has been said by people inside and outside of the Bigfoot research community, not to mention the so-called scientific community. Comments have ranged from simple disagreements as to whether sasquatches exist, if this is a hoax, to profane rants. While the SSRG does not necessarily agree with the way Bigfoot Tracker is handling the release of the alleged information, we understand their right to try to make as much money off this as they can. And although we won't know for certain until September 1st, or whenever they move the date to, our varied sources are split over if this the real deal. It doesn't make a lot of sense for them to hoax this because they would lose any credibility they had and the income they make from their expeditions. But then, we don't really know what their history is.
Our mission here at the SSRG always has been to prove the existance of sasquatches. It really isn't important to us who gets the initial credit. There will still be plenty of work to do regarding the species such as identifying specific habitats, verifying migration routes and counting or estimating populations. We also expect this will become a little easier with the species being proven to exist since there will be more money invested into the research, which will translate into better equipment to conduct the research with.
Like everyone else, we exitedly await the news from Atlanta and the looks on the faces of the doubters. Of course, if Bigfoot Tracker fails to come through with what they are alleging, then we'll just have to put them in our Hoaxes and Hoaxers section.
The proof will eventually be shown anyway. It's not a question of if, it's a matter of when.

The press conference came and went today, and unfortunately nothing new was shown or learned other than the website Bigfoottracker.com being a complete scam. I'm still waiting for any solid evidence to be shown.

As was sadly expected, the entire incident was finally admitted to be a hoax. Unfortunately, the legitimate research community will feel the wrath of the media and skeptics just as much as the perpetrators of the hoax will. Those individuals will never again (if they ever did) hold the respect and trust of their former community.
