We in the Sierra Sasquatch Research Group are dedicated to finding physical evidence of the cryptozoological species known as Bigfoot.  Our long term goal is to see the species recognized by science and taxonomically classified.

BF Forum Message Boards:

There are many boards which discuss Bigfoot and we will be adding some of them to our links in the near future.  Due to time constraints we don't normally engage in a great deal of forum board post.

BLOG:  We maintain a blog on Google for posts related to our research.

SCIENCE ADVISOR:

Our Science advisor is Kathy Strain.  She is a long time Bigfoot researcher with the Association of Independent Bigfoot Researchers (AIBR)  She's employed by the USFS as a full time archeologist.

With the addition of Brad Flom and the Sasquatch Searchers to the SSRG we'll have several websites for you to explore and learn about the Sierra Sasquatch.

Researcher Robert (Bob) Boston who, as a longtime hunter, tracker and woodsman, suggests areas for our research and provides the needed expertise to make our research successful.  Bob is currently limited for most field expeditions but continues to participate in the research of the creature.  Bob has had several encounters with the Bigfoot species, some of which are documented on this site.  However his most frightening encounter was in the Desolation Wilderness when he met a Sasquatch we now call Maxine, named after the Harry Potter character.
Bob is willing at his discretion to discuss his Sasquatch experiences with other researchers, but will decline media interviews.  Bob is currently having significant medical problems with his spine and won't be performing field research for the immediate future.

Larry Lesh serves as our Webmaster and Field Photographer.  He's an alumni of the 600th Photo Squadron from the SEA War and is retired from the USAF and USPS.  Larry's first encounter with Sasquatch happened over Labor Day Weekend of 1973 on the North Fork of the Kings River in an area named Granite Gorge.

A newer member is Don Bendickson who's agreed to serve as our internet technical advisor.  Don enjoys the outdoors and works in the consumer electronics business.  He's currently moving the website to Host Excellance and this will be reflected in the near future.  Thank you Don.

Member Drew Jones.  Drew enjoys the outdoors and works in Graphics and Video Editing.  Welcome aboard Drew.

Brad Flom is joining us from Nevada and bringing his group, research and experience over to the SSRG.  Brad is an expert woodsman and has had encounters of his own with the BF species including one close encounter.  We'll be adding to our research areas although these areas won't include detailed directions.  Brad feels that the intrusion of well meaning or hurtful humans into their encounter and research areas would be a significant detriment to the species.  Also it would create opportunities for hoaxing which has happened in the general area of research or cause the species to move out of the area.
